Congratulations to the Edwardsville High School Tiger Talk Podcast Network, which will be receiving a $1,500.00 grant from the Illinois Farm Bureau and the Illinois Press Foundation! This is the third straight year they have received a grant.
The award is part of the Illinois High School Journalism Grants Program offered by the Illinois Press Foundation and financially sponsored for a third consecutive year by Illinois Farm Bureau.
EHS was one of 26 recipients across the state and will use the grant money to purchase a professional podcasting desk.
The EHS Tiger Talk Podcast Network will enter its fourth year during the 2025-26 school year. The network features two podcasts, Tiger Spotlight, a podcast highlighting our Tiger community and The Jungle, the official EHS sports podcast. The network is sponsored by Mrs. Nicole Pontious and Mr. Dave Lipe and all episodes are planned, recorded, published, and promoted entirely by students.
